Da'wa Activity

Da’wah: IANA Islamic Association of North America (IANA) was founded in the year of 2001 to meet the religious and social needs of Muslim societies in North America. As a response to the changing realities of Muslim communities, IANA re-positions itself to effectively reach diverse Muslim communities across the country.

During Ramadan, IANA held many Da’wah events to connect our Muslim community to the masjid since the masaajid are closed due to COVID-19 guidelines. IANA also holds many webinars regarding defending the Prophet

Umm Salamah The next mother of the believers was truly an extraordinary human being and it’s an honor to write about her. Her real name was Hind Bint Abi Umayya, she is from the tribe of Banu Makhzum, and cousins with a few of the most notable men in Islam, for example, Khalid ibn al-Walid.

Ummul Masakeen Even before Islam, our next mother Zainab Bint Khuzaymah was known as the mother of the poor. She was extremely compassionate when it came to the less fortunate people. Zainab Bint Khuzaymah came from a family that was well known and extremely important people. Her Mother was Hind Bint Auf and Her father was Abdullahi bin Amr.
