Minneapolis, February 11,2021 Abuubakar immediate release: After observing the political deadlock of the talk between Somali Federal Government and the Federal Regional States, the expiration of the constitutional terms for Somali Federal Government and Parliamentary institutions, and the disagreement on a direct and indirect electoral system, as Somali scholars in America, we call on the country's leaders and presidential candidates and, those who are concerned, to do the following.
- We remind the leaders of the country to fear Allah, to preserve their own integrity and uphold the oath that they swore by to protect and care for the people of Somalia. Nothing goes unnoticed in the sight of Allah and everyone will be held responsible for the negligence and oppression of our people. “O you who have believed, fear Allah. And let every soul look to what it has put forth for tomorrow - and fear Allah. Indeed, Allah is Acquainted with what you do.”
Chapter 59, V. 18. A hadith also states, “Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "Surely! Everyone of you is a guardian and is responsible for his charges: The Imam (ruler) of the people is a guardian and is responsible for his subjects; a man is the guardian of his family (household) and is responsible for his subjects; a woman is the guardian of her husband's home and of his children and is responsible for them; and the slave of a man is a guardian of his master's property and is responsible for it. Surely, every one of you is a guardian and responsible for his charges."” - We call the Heads of the Federal Government and the Heads of regional States to negotiate and compromise in the common interest of Somali people and the nation. They should without delay resolve their differences and come up with a mutually acceptable electoral system. Allah says (meaning) “To reconcile and compromise for the common good is good deed…”. Chapter 4, Verse 128.
- We call on the Heads of the Federal Government, the two Houses of the parliament, and the State Governments to work fully for the security and stability of the country, and to avoid anything that could lead to insecurity and political setback.
- We call on all Somali people to come together and hold the bond of Allah (the Qur'an and the Sunnah of the Prophet (PBUH) and work for the brotherhood, unity, and nationhood of Somalia while avoiding anything that could lead to the division of the country and its people. Allah said: (meaning) " hold fast to the rope of Allah and be united and don't become divided.” Chapter 3, Verse 103.
- We welcome the international community's support for the Somali people. At the same time, we call on the international community and neighboring governments to respect the sovereignty and nationhood of Somalia.
- We pray to Allah to unite the hearts of the Somali people and guide them in their interests in this life and hereafter.

- Waxaan madaxda dalka xusuusinaynaa Inay Ilaahey uga baqaan masuuliyadda ay qaadeen kuna dhaarteen oo ay ummadda u turaan, inay ogadaana in Ilaahey uu kula xisaatami doono waxay ummadda u qabteen iyo waxay ka gaabiyeen. Ilaahey wuxuu yiri: “يايهاالذين امنوا اتقواالله ولتنظر نفس ماقدمت لغد”عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ: قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم: كُلُّكُمْ رَاعٍ، وَكُلُّكُمْ مَسْؤولٌ عَنْ رَعِيَّتِهِ، فَالأَمِيرُ رَاعٍ وَهُوَ مَسْؤُولٌ،
- Madaxda dowladda fadelaarka iyo madaxda dowlad goboleedyadda inay wada hadlaan oo isu tanaasulaan iyagoo fiirinaya maslaxadda guud ee dadka iyo dalka. Islamarkaana ay si deg deg ah uga heshiiyaan khilaafyada jira oo ay la yimaadaan qaab doorasho oo ay isla ogol yihiin. Ilaahey wuxuu yiri suluxigu waa khayr ( والصلح خير)
- Waxaan ugu baaqaynaa In Madaxada dowladda Fedaraalka, Labada aqal, Dowlad goboleedyadda inay si buuxda uga shaqeeyaan amniga iyo xasiloonida waddanka, oo ay iska Ilaaliyaan wax walba oo keeni kara amni daro iyo dib u dhac siyaasadeed.
- Waxaan ugu baaqaynaa In dhammaan shacabka Soomaaliyeed ay qabsadaan xariga Ilaahey (Kitaabka Quraanka iyo Sunnada Nabiga NNK) oo ay ka shaqeeyaan walaalnimada, midnimada, iyo Qarannimmada Soomaaliyeed iyadoo laga fogaanayo wax walboo keeni kara in dalka iyo dadku ay qaybsamaan, Meesha lajoogana dib looga noqdo. Illaahey wuxuu yiray: " واعتصمو ا بحبل الله جميعا "
- Waxaan soo dhawaynaynaa taageerada Beesha caalamka ay u fidiyeen ummadda Soomaaliyeed. Isla mar’ahaantaana, waxaan ugu baaqaynaa Beesha caalamka iyo dowladdaha dariska ah inay ilaaliyaan madaxbanaanidda iyo qaranimmada dalka Soomaaliya.
- Waxaan illaahay ka baryeynaa in ummadda Soomaaliyeed quluubtooda mideeyo, kuna hanuuniyo dantooda aduun iyo aakhiro.
